Self-Archiving Policy

This policy outlines the methods by which authors of the Journal of Contemporary Medical Sciences (JCMS) can archive their work on their own websites, corporate sites, and other relevant subject repositories. The JCMS operates under an open-access license, allowing articles to be immediately accessible according to their specific Creative Commons license. When publishing an article under an open access license, authors are encouraged by the JCMS to share the Version of Record at the time of publication, rather than the Accepted Manuscript.
Furthermore, authors are permitted to reuse the Abstract and Citation information, including the article's title, author name, and publication date, on social media platforms such as LinkedIn, Facebook, blogs, and Twitter, as long as they include a link to the article on the JCMS site where possible. Ideally, the link should contain the Digital Object Identifier (DOI), which is available in the article's online Citation information. The author may also place the accepted version on their personal website or their company/institutional repository or archive, without an embargo period.
It is important to note that JCMS is now officially archived at the Iraqi Academic Scientific Journal (IASJ).
